A shock absorbing turf system suited to playgrounds applications. Perfect for school and pre-school play areas.

It may look like grass but PermaPlay serves a much greater purpose in a fall zone. We developed this super-realistic synthetic grass, backed by a long-lasting shock absorbing underlay, as a more natural looking alternative to rubber playground surfacing. For safe, straightforward play across every type of outdoor condition it’s the ideal solution.

The Critical Fall Height (CFH) provided by PermaPlay depends on the thickness of shockpads that are installed underneath. Our shockpads are made to 30mm, 50mm and 80mm thickness and, when laid onto a base course structure, deliver a CFH from 1.5m to 3.0m.

Comes in rolls 1.8m or 3.6m wide.

Certified to S5828:2004 in New Zealand and Australia.

Case Study

The Gardens Early Childhood Centre.

The Gardens needed three clearly defined spaces – one for the under-ones, one for the under-twos and one for the two and over age group. Numat delivered and installed a range of surfacing materials along with sandpit covers and sunshade, providing a complete project management service for the site.

“Numat came up with a great solution. Quick, straight to the point and willing to help with everything, they’ve come up with something that works really well.”
